In this episode I share a mini session with you. Most women are more compelled to fix their weight than deal with their lives and their emotions. Weight gain can be an invitation to find out what you’re thinking and feeling that isn’t working for you.

Weight is just a symptom. Fixing your weight is never the solution unless you can figure out what caused it to begin with.

The woman in the mini-session was used to binging when she felt strong emotions, and then just under-eating after. She learned to control her weight this way. It was a total disconnection to her body for 20 years. She could binge, not feel, and control her weight.

This only became a problem when she could no longer control her weight. Her weight gain is not the problem, but her inability to feel negative emotion is the problem. Listen in as I talk to you about the questions I asked her, and how I helped her see that her weight gain is a blessing.
