Ep 257: Don’t Throw Out The Scale!

PODCAST EPISODE 257

Does the idea of getting on the scale feel like torture and fill you with dread? If so, I’m guessing that your relationship with the scale goes something like this:

You step on the scale, and it tells you something you don’t want to hear. You decide that you don’t like it, it’s not working, or you’re not losing weight quickly enough. This creates negative emotions, you turn on yourself, and you eat to feel better. And right on cue, you’ve proven those thoughts of disappointment and discouragement. Sound familiar?

If so, I have good news for you; the scale is a tool, and your mind is manageable. By realizing that the scale is a neutral entity and the problem lies with what you are thinking about the scale’s results, you can manage your mind and change the way you think and feel about it.

In this episode, I’m showing you how to manage your mind around the scale and use it as a tool to help you get what you want. I’m showing you how to bring more awareness to your thoughts to make this the last time you ever lose weight, and why you don’t need to throw out the scale!
