One of the many tools that I teach and talk about at the end of my program with clients and groups is a question called, “Why is this the last time you’ll ever need to lose weight again?” I’m in the midst of finishing up my latest Thinner Peace Group Program, and one of my clients from that group gave me her permission to share her answer to that all-important question.
I have the pleasure of sharing Nancy’s letter with you all today. When Nancy came into the group session, she said that her biggest goal was to make peace with her body and with food. Losing weight was just a nice bonus because, for her, it was all about freeing herself from the burden of weight. She wanted to share this with the desire to pay it forward.
