What constitutes as normal eating for you? Most of us don’t know what normal is and just think of overeating and eating foods that don’t serve us. For my listener, Carol, normal eating for her was her desire to overeat during dinner and continue eating until bedtime. In her letter to me, she admitted that giving in to this desire has served as her biggest obstacle to weight loss and wants to work past these feelings.
In this special episode, Carol joins me for a live coaching session where I help her get started on mindfully managing those night-time urges. Food can still taste as possibly good when you’re hungry. Just because you see it or crave it, there is never a good reason to justify overeating. Eating to connect with your body will be more satisfying and fulfilling than those few minutes of pleasure from allowing an urge ever will be in the long run.
Through compassionate thought management and allowing her urges to come through, Carol has brought a stop to years of suffering and yo-yo dieting. If you’re like Carol and struggle with controlling yourself at night, make sure to join us and learn how you can kick those unhealthy eating habits. Enjoy the show!
