We lose a lot of ourselves in the process of trying to cope with hurtful events. In our desire to get over our negative emotions, we resort to temporary relief such as comfort food and sugar-eating. The truth is, our emotions are not related to the food we consume.

Today, I welcome back one of my very memorable clients, Cynthia. She has been an avid listener of the podcast, long before she decided to take the coaching with Thinner Peace. Sweets and chocolate chip cookies have played a great role as her coping mechanisms. This made her feel like she had no control over her thoughts and decisions, thus losing her identity.
