We’ve recently started the ThiNNER Peace in Menopause Program, and I would like to share with you a little bit about what I’m teaching in the group and maybe something that you can learn even though for whatever reason that you decided not to join the group this time.
I always start out the program talking about why they want to do this work of losing weight. To find a compelling reason to push through with the process. Because compelling, really has your brains attention. And you really need to have your brains attention for this to work.
When I ask my clients why they want to lose weight, oftentimes the answer is along the lines of “I want to be healthier” or “I want to fit into smaller clothes.” But with all the holiday celebrations coming up, you need a more compelling reason– something that resonates deeply within you that it overrides any short-term pleasure you’ll get from competing desires.
In this episode, I discuss the importance of finding your compelling reason to lose weight and how you can find success in this process through the power of resilience. Weight loss is not a straight road and you must learn to handle setbacks and failures if you want to reach that finish line. It’s not about what you eat, but how committed you are to building that healthy mind-body connection.
Resilience is key to everything in life and I want to help you get started on thinking what compels you so make sure not to miss out on this episode!
