As a woman in our culture, I learned that having a thin body meant trusting something outside of ourselves. But our bodies are wired to eat when hungry and stop when full. A listener asked me how to eat only when hungry when family meals and work schedules have set eating times.

In this episode, I’ll answer Denise’s question and discuss how to tune in to your physical hunger and understand why you eat. Keeping a food journal can help you determine if you’re eating out of hunger or for other reasons. Remember, it’s okay to not eat when not hungry, and pay attention to your body’s signals. By doing so, you can improve your relationship with food.
