I am a firm believer in the power of love. It’s what makes the world go round, and yet why is it that we have such a hard time loving ourselves? There is a widespread epidemic of self-loathing amongst women that is deeply rooted in how we see ourselves, our bodies, and how we use food. We have been conditioned to use punishment and hatred to fix what’s wrong with ourselves when all it does is sabotage our true potential to grow.
In this episode, I talk about the concept of tough love and how you can use it to say “No” to other people, and most importantly, to yourself. Even when those desires and urges start feeling uncomfortable and all you wanna do is give in and indulge, true tough love means saying no to yourself from a place of love.
A real live “No” coming from love is powerful and makes a world of a difference compared to being hard on yourself out of punishment. So join me in this episode as I guide you on how you can make this summer the summer of “No” so you can get closer to what you really want – feeling better about yourself. Enjoy the show!
