Let’s be honest, battling weight gain during menopause can be incredibly discouraging. In this episode, I want to share a powerful strategy that helped me make peace with my body and finally start losing weight.
On a recent vacation, surrounded by family of all ages, it struck me how important self-acceptance is at any stage of life. It made me reflect on my own relationship with my body, and let’s just say, there was room for improvement.
That’s why I’m dedicating this episode to two key challenges that can help you transform your self-image:
I want you to try something different the next time you look in the mirror. Instead of nitpicking your flaws, say something kind to yourself. It might feel awkward at first, but trust me, this simple practice can completely shift your mindset and boost your confidence.
For many of us, weight, especially the number on the scale, becomes a source of shame. This week, I challenge you to break free from that. Start by saying your weight aloud to someone you trust. It might feel scary, but owning your weight is a powerful step towards self-acceptance.
If you’re ready to ditch the negativity and embrace a more positive body image, this episode is for you!
I also want to mention my group coaching program, where you can go deeper into self-awareness and develop a plan to reach your goals. But for now, listen to this episode and let’s start making peace with ourselves, one kind word and one honest conversation at a time! Enjoy the show!
