Emotional Hunger is when an emotion causes a desire to eat. And, I don’t need to tell you that menopause brings a lot of emotions.
If you are not able to distinguish the difference between Emotional Hunger and Physical Hunger, then you will end up feeding Emotional Hunger when you really need to be processing those emotions.
And, THAT is why weight gain in menopause is so common.

Because I’ve been there, too.
I spent 30 years overeating and gaining weight. I started my first diet at 12 years old and finished my LAST diet at 50 years of age.
I’ve gained and lost at least 250lbs in my lifetime.
I’ve gone grocery shopping late at night so that I could binge on junk food just to throw it up again.
