Birthdays are the day to celebrate and honor yourself, and celebrations such as these come with cake and food, and indulgence. Unfortunately, modern society has skewed how we perceive food and eating as well as normalized a culture that is unhealthy for us in the long run. Ask yourself: Do you want to disrespect your body on your special day, of all days?
