Our experiences of trauma and pain do not usually come from strangers. We usually get them from people we love and are close to us like our parents.

In this episode, I’d like to specifically talk about our mothers or the mother figures in our lives. Around 75% of all the women I’ve coached and talked to in groups or individually have something to say about their mothers and how their relationship affected their view of their bodies and weight. I will share something personal that happened between me and my mother, how I approached our relationship, and how I was able to clear my mind off past trauma and pain.

Without downplaying childhood traumas, I want to remind you that what happened to you in your childhood is over. If you want to learn to process trauma and pain from the past, this podcast can be very helpful. Enjoy the show!
