An indisputable fact about life is that it is full of hardships and challenges, but it doesn’t mean we have to necessarily change the circumstances of our lives to be happy. When you feel a negative emotion, it’s because of your perception of what’s going on around you. Many of us tried to “fix” that feeling with food,and my client, Renee used to be no different. Today, she is here to share her journey of shedding that emotional burden.
It is an honor and a privilege to welcome my beloved client, Renee to the show. When we began working together, she had trouble feeling joy about anything. She is a very smart and accomplished woman, but she was also frustrated with feeling like she wasn’t in the body she was in. She learned that before she could take the weight off, she needed to find her own self-acceptance first. It took a lot of emotional and mental work to manage her mind, but now the urge to always be looking for food is gone and it has made her life richer and happier.
