Where societal standards of beauty and health frequently revolve around slimness, the pressure to lose weight can feel all-encompassing. But what if we took a step back and reconsidered our approach to this universal struggle?
In this episode, I want to talk about a universal issue many women face: the desire to lose weight, especially during menopause. Instead of obsessing over weight loss, let’s embrace our current weight and focus on connecting with our bodies. It’s essential to understand physical and emotional hunger, using tools like eating when hungry, stopping when full, and recognizing emotional hunger. The goal is to shift our mindset away from weight loss and towards self-acceptance and body connection.
Liberate ourselves from the weight-centric paradigm and, instead, nurture a culture of self-acceptance and intimate body connection. Enjoy the show!
