We’ve hit the 407th episode of “Thinner Peace in Menopause and Beyond.” Can you believe it’s been six years of weekly podcasts? I’m committed to keeping them coming as long as my mouth and brain cooperate.
In this episode, let’s talk about something we all need – self-compassion. I’m drawing inspiration from Kristen Neff’s book, where she talks about the three components: self-kindness, common humanity, and mindfulness. We often prioritize kindness for others but fall short when it comes to ourselves. I’m introducing a simple daily exercise – reflect on three positive things about yourself each day. I’ve seen this small change make a huge impact, like with one of my clients who shifted her self-talk and behavior.
Stay tuned for an exciting mini course I’ll be launching soon. Remember, be extra kind to yourself this week. Enjoy the show!
