For 30 years, I yoyo dieted and threw my mind out of the window whenever I wanted to overeat. I decided that I wasn’t going to pay attention to anything I was eating – especially during the holidays. I’d tell myself “it’s the holidays, I can do what I want”, or “I’m celebrating!”, as though I was giving myself a free pass. But constantly being up and down with my dieting meant that I was constantly in the cycle of gaining and losing weight.
It doesn’t need to be the New Year for you to make a change in your life, in fact, I recommend that you start now and apply it over the festive period! How you use the holidays is important, so why not give yourself the best possible gift and learn how to keep your mind and body connected to ensure you only eat when you’re actually hungry?
Join me this week as I’m sharing some ways you can develop your mind and body awareness and use it to stop overindulging. I’m showing you how to mindfully manage your urges and how to become more aware of your thoughts and eating patterns, and how you can give yourself the gift of keeping your mind intact this holiday season. I can’t think of anything better you could want for yourself!
