As we go into December, you’re probably going to be part of the general population who gains a lot of weight over the holidays and when January comes around, you’ll make some New Year’s resolution to stop it. Rinse and repeat. And that cycle is never going to end until you start to become accountable to yourself. Not to me, not to your friends or family – to yourself.
My dear listeners, I propose a new challenge for you called, “The Thinner Peace Holiday Challenge”, where you will begin to practice awareness and accountability through three simple steps which I will discuss in this episode. Different things may be going on during the holidays, but how you practice mindful eating and how you speak to yourself shouldn’t be any different from any other day in the year.
Change will never happen overnight, but awareness will be your first step towards it. This holiday season, one of the best gifts you can give yourself is proper accountability and self-compassion.
