Ep 10 Real Life Moment: How To Stop Binge Eating Using Mindfulness

This episode is all about night-time eating. This is a big problem for many of my clients and it is different for everyone. Many people storm or binge eat during this time, so I thought I would give a real life coaching session and how mindfulness helps storm eating, or what is commonly referred to as binge eating.

Storm eating is always about emotions, especially at night and since most of my clients rarely have a clue about what they’re feeling during this time, identifying the thoughts and feelings are always where we start.

Remember, feelings come from your thoughts, and feelings create your actions, so if you’re out of control at night with eating, it is coming from something you’re feeling.

In this episode I use one of my client’s real life circumstances, and show you how I helped her understand that sometimes thoughts run very deep, and we can easily think we don’t know what they are.

When “I don’t know” is not an option, because I know you’re the only one who does know, then the answers start appearing. This client I discuss today is a highly successful woman who has core thoughts of not feeling like she’s good enough. Listen to how we unwind these thoughts for her and how it directly affects her storm eating at night.
