In this episode you will see how you can make exercise ridiculously easy.
Exercise + Joy = play
When you think of exercise, how does it make you feel? If it’s not positive, then this episode is for you. By now you know whatever you do comes from how you feel, and if you’re dreading it, there’s a highly likely chance you won’t do it.
If you are like many of my clients, you might like to make big goals for exercising that feel overwhelming when you think about it. And of course, we know you then don’t do it.
I work with women who are very successful in many areas of their life. They think the harder they are on themselves, the more productive they will be. This is fallacy. You must stop thinking like this.
If you’ve gotten this far by being hard on yourself and super mean, don’t equate your success with this, please. If I asked how you handle your employees or kids or colleagues, it’s never this way. In fact, the people you love most, you tend to really be mindful on how to help them. The whip and chain method is obsolete! You wouldn’t use it on them, WHY are you still using it on you? So let’s look at exercise in this light.
I wrote a blog about this called Exercise Can Be Ridiculously Easy. Read here: https://drdebbutler.com/exercise-can-be-ridiculously-easy-really
