In this episode I let you listen to a real coaching session from a podcast listener who wrote me a letter. Here is part of her letter:
I am finding it easy to grasp and understand the physical hunger scale and the four types of eating. I find I am able to observe myself, gauge my physical hunger before and after eating, and identify what type of eating I am engaging in when I eat as well. What I am struggling to understand and definitely apply, is the emotional hunger scale. I really can’t identify the number or even what I am feeling when I eat. I am a very big worry wart so most of the time I feel like it’s worry I am feeling. I don’t know what else. I can’t really figure this part out.
Listen in as I coach her on connecting to her body through the emotional hunger scale. As you’ll find out, when she says she doesn’t know why, she learns that she really does know. She’s very smart, and I help her connect to her “smartness,” when connecting to her own body.
