In this episode, I talk about how food influences how you think about food. In the previous 48 episodes, I focused more on how your mind affects what and how you eat, (which, of course, is true.) When working with my individual clients I always work on their mindfulness around food first. Once they become more mindful about what’s going with their body-mind connection, we start on the second phase of my program.

After working with lots of clients, and watching them become very mindful around food and their bodies, the next step is to see how the foods they eat directly affect their bodies and their thoughts. Yes, even thoughts.

If, after working specifically with your thoughts and perception, you still find yourself “hungry” after eating, it might not be your mind, it may be how your brain is being affected by the food you eat and it’s becoming inflamed.
