I recently had a letter from another podcast listener who lost 15 pounds following my program! Today I will read you her letter about deprivation and then let you listen in to a real coaching session I did with her, with her permission, of course.
This is what she wrote:
Thank you for your podcasts, I’m a loyal listener & have benefitted greatly from your talks. I share your podcasts with others because I have found them to be so helpful!
I was wondering if it is possible to address the challenges of wheat/gluten allergies or sensitivities to dairy, sugar etc., while trying to lose weight and navigate eating habits. I find that feelings of deprivation creep in to my thoughts that are difficult to deal with. Even though I have sensitivities to certain foods, I feel deprived and give in to eating them which I know will make me uncomfortable later, but I still make bad choices. I wish all foods were okay to eat. Funny thing is I’m also allergic to shellfish, but I never eat it or have a desire to, but with wheat & sugar it’s different.
