What do you think when you sit down to eat? That’s the question I pose to you today. Did you know that you even think something every time you sit down to eat?
If you find it hard to control yourself around certain meals or foods, I want to show you how it’s not the food that is getting in your way, it’s what you’re thinking that is getting in the way.
Most of my clients and students alike believe they must change what they eat to lose the weight. I show you in this episode that I would work on what you’re thinking to lose the weight.
Many people think when they sit down to eat, it’s their favorite food, and they MUST eat it all or can’t control themselves. That thought alone, will create the action of overeating. Much more so than the food itself. I call these thoughts fattening thoughts.
There are also thoughts that create paying attention to your body, I call these “thinning” thoughts, such as I want to eat something that will be healthy for my body, or I want to fill my beautiful body will food that will fuel it.
The thoughts you think on a regular basis have the power to make your body thin or fat. Which will you choose to believe? It starts with becoming aware of what you are thinking.
