In this episode we talk more about Shenpa and urges, and why finding peace in discomfort is so important. When you can sit with discomfort without trying to escape it, this is where confidence in yourself resides.
In order to feel confident and trust yourself with food and your body in any situation, you MUST be able to feel the pull of discomfort or what I call the urge. This is where freedom lies. When urges lead to undesired results, feeling an uncomfortable emotion is preferable and can be taught.
