Not sure how I stumbled on to this podcast but I love it because it helps me to realize that dieting wasn’t the issue for me – emotional eating was/is the issue. The tools that she gives you to overcome this work! Allowing those feelings (tired, stressed , angry…) that I have been experiencing to come to the surface and be acknowledged instead of giving into them (aka urges) has really helped me a lot. Questioning why I’m eating (emotional hunger scale) has also helped. Dr. Deb, I would like to hear more about changing our thought patterns around valuing ourselves. I think we too often forget to value ourselves and give ourselves a break. Keep on podcasting as I look forward to each new episode and going through the old ones.
