I’m angry and I’m not going to take anymore!

You know why I feel anger?

I was out for lunch with my mom a while back. We went to a new little cafe with yummy, beautiful, artisanal baked goods! We really enjoyed them.

We were planning on making a big family dinner, so I suggested getting some of these delectable foods for dessert.

Here’s what she said: “Don’t get anything I really like, so I won’t be tempted.”

I said, “Mom, you want me to get things you don’t like because you think you’ll be temped if you really like it, and you won’t be able to control yourself?”

You get where I’m going. My mom is 85 years old and she still “thinks” this way.

THIS IS THE YEAR I WILL DO EVERYTHING IN MY POWER TO HELP WOMEN CHANGE THE WAY THEY THINK ABOUT FOOD AND, THEREFORE, THEMSELVES.

I’M ANGRY AND I’M NOT GOING TO TAKE IT ANYMORE!!

What will it take for you to know, without a doubt, that you CAN control yourself around food? Any food? What will it take for you to know that if you were to come to my house with these delicious desserts, you would be able to enjoy them, and I mean really enjoy them, and then stop eating the minute you are through? No guilt, no anger, no temptation. Just plain done!!!!

And still lose weight.
