So, now you know how you want to feel when you’re done exercising.
How do you want to feel when you’re done eating?
As you know, I’ve gained some weight since my doggie died.
So, I sat down to eat dinner last night. I was with a lot of my family and it was a joyous time.
I love them all.
We always eat delicious food when we’re together, and have great wines and desserts.
I am being very conscious when I sit down to eat anything, as I teach you to do, also.
When I was avoiding my sadness after my dog died, I was eating it instead. I was not being very conscious at all.
I was just trying to run away from these feelings. (I know, I know, I told you this before!)
Someone offered me a glass of wine. In the past, after Baron, I would have said yes as fast as I could.
Today, I calmly said no thanks, and went on with our lively conversation.
Here’s what I was thinking…
How do I want to feel in my body and my mind when I’m done eating tonight?
I answered light, airy, less achey (wine makes me feel achey), connected to ME AND clear as a bell tomorrow.
I then KNEW that drinking the wine would not help me get there.
It was so easy to say no.
I thanked myself profusely when I went to sleep.
Don’t think less of me… BUT I love myself that much!!!!
JUST START!
